The 7.1 Megapixel CCD and 3x optical zoom in the W30 assure high-resolution images. The enhanced waterproof construction of the W30 allows it to be submerged down to ten feet for up to two hours. That makes taking pictures is possible even during a rainy or snowy weather. The large 2.5-inch LCD monitor is easy to view even in direct sunlight with an Anti-reflective coating and a new Bright mode. Face Recognition Auto Focus and Auto Exposure automatically detect a person's face to assure properly exposed portraits. Digital Shake Reduction mode automatically selects a higher ISO setting to prevent blur due to subject or photographer movement. High-quality enhanced movie mode captures at 30 fps and includes digital shake reduction, interval movie mode, and a range of built-in editing functions.
